Piping Design, Construction and Mechanical Integrity (ASME B31.3 and API 570)

Introduction

The aim of this course is to provide the participants with a complete and up-to date overview of the area of Piping Technology With an emphasis on process piping.

Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will gain an understanding of the physical phenomena which affects the design of the piping system.

The ASME Code formulas and other methods by which theses phenomena can be analyzed to determine resulting stresses, evaluation of those stresses relative to ASME Code limitations, the methods by which piping systems are fabricated, inspected send tested, and the additional requirements which need to be in a fabrication / installation specifications to ensure adequate and proper installation.

Training Methodology

The training methodology is interactive with group exercises and is suitable for all employees involved in functions management. The pace and level of the training workshop is customized to the understanding of the delegates. Ongoing back-up and support is available after the training on request to the supplier, and the training course is also available for in-house presentation as well as for “Competency Transfer”.

Who Should Attend?

For those who are involved in the design, analysis, fabrication, installation and maintenance or ownership of piping systems.
